Repousse brass Ganesh seated within a cusped arch on a low throne, attended by Siddhi and Bhu Devi with chauri and fan, below which is a tazza with ladus [sweets], a rat to either side of this each offering the elephant-headed god aladu in its paw. Mughlaised floral patterns throughout and to the borders. In a later oak frame with paper label from Edinburgh, Scotland [circa early 20th century]. Bombay, 19th century. 60cm x 60cm [exc. frame]
